Involved in workplace training for over 30 years, primarily with the Canadian Armed Forces, Guy Boulet started as an instructor and was also Course Director, Training Director, Training Standards Supervisor, and was also responsible for the implementation of e-learning for the Royal Canadian Navy. In this capacity, he was responsible for the establishment of the Navy Distance Learning Center for Excellence in Quebec City. He has also been a learning advisor for Université Laval, and a Learning Specialist for the Department of National Defence, where he worked, among other things, on the design of the Canadian Virtual Naval Fleet and managed various research an development projects in the field of distributed simulation. He is also the founder and Chief Operations Officer of ModSim 3D, an enterprise specializing in 3D modeling and simulation in support of training. He holds a bachelor in industrial relations from Université Laval, a undergraduate certificate in business administration from Télé-Université and a masters in distance learning from TÉLUQ-UQAM.
